I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oklahoma with a master’s degree in Human Relations. I have worked in mental health for over 25 years in different settings including inpatient, day treatment, home based, school based and outpatient. I also have a lot of experience working in collaboration with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. I enjoy counseling children and teenagers with their families as well as adults, both individually and with their partners. I specialize in depression, anxiety, behavioral concerns, adjustment issues, social anxiety, stress management, relationship conflict and trauma.
I am an active listener and I strive to create an environment that is safe, inviting and healing for everyone. I approach counseling with a client-centered and I strive to work with my clients to establish their reason for presenting to counseling and process through ways to accomplish their goals. I want to help others improve their quality of life by helping them improve how they relate to themselves and others.
Treatment modalities include: EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, Gottman method, somatic experiencing, family constellations, parent management training, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and written exposure therapy.
