Amy is not currently scheduling clients.
I am a highly experienced professional in the field of counseling, holding both a license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the State of Oklahoma. With a strong background in both the mind and the body, I offer a unique and effective approach to therapy that is tailored to each client's individual needs.
My educational background includes a master's degree in counseling psychology, and I have over twenty years of experience in serving individuals. Prior to becoming a counselor, I worked as a program director for sober living homes for women. I have also worked as a therapist in both non-profit residential treatment centers and private mental health and substance abuse agencies, as well as serving as a supervisor in these settings.
Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of concerns, including adolescents and adults. I have received training in various therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, integrative therapy, Gottman method, and mindfulness therapy, as well as coaching and leadership. My style is eclectic, utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy to help clients achieve their goals.
I am committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals, regardless of their background, culture, faith, race, or sexual orientation. My ultimate goal is to help each client achieve a greater sense of well-being and fulfillment in their lives.
